Following an esteemed academic and medical career, Marie Lindner, is active on several consultancies/boards. She was most recently focused on finding new trends in science and medicine at Novartis Pharmaceuticals, as Global Program Head, Strategic Partnerships Team.

Prior to Novartis, Dr. Lindner was at Shire as Senior Director, Scientific Licensing, in gastroenterology. She was previously a venture partner for 5 years at BioAdvance, a start-up venture capital group, serving on numerous start-up company boards in multiple therapeutic areas. Dr. Lindner also worked in various capacities, including but not limited at Fibrocell Science, Alkermes, BTG, GSK, and Sanofi for over 7 years. Prior to pharma/biotech, she was Assistant Professor of Medicine at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Dr. Lindner received her medical degree from the Chicago Medical School (Rosalind Franklin University) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Washington University. Dr. Lindner has also held a number of faculty positions at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
